Homeowner Hiring Tips

• Ask about fees and payment first. Call the clinic and ask what a first visit costs, which payment methods and pet insurance plans it accepts, and what payment options exist.
• Check hours and availability. Look at clinic hours, evening and weekend availability, whether walk-ins are accepted, and whether the clinic offers after-hours or emergency care.
• Read recent reviews. Look at how recent reviews describe scheduling, wait times, front-desk communication and billing, not only the star rating.
• Ask for an estimate in writing. Before you commit to anything beyond a first visit, ask for a written estimate and the payment options offered.
