Homeowner Hiring Tips

• Look at recent reviews. A steady stream of reviews from the last 6 months tells you more than a big lifetime total, especially for diagnostics and repeat-problem complaints that only show up weeks after the visit.
• Get a written estimate first. Ask for parts and labor itemized in writing, and make sure the shop calls you for approval before doing any work beyond the estimate.
• Ask about warranty and parts. Ask whether parts are new, OEM or aftermarket, and what parts and labor warranty the shop offers, in miles and months.
• Confirm registration and certifications. Verify the shop is registered with the Nevada DMV as a repair shop, ask about ASE-certified technicians, and ask for your old parts back as a simple honesty check.
